When you use Flopp, we may collect the following types of information:

• Personal Information: email address, name (if provided), login provider info.
• Financial Data: transaction history, account balances, linked bank metadata (via Plaid).
• Device & Usage Info: device type, OS, app version, screen views, etc.

We sync financial data using Plaid, which provides read-only access. We never have access to your money, passwords, or credentials.

We use your data to:

• Deliver financial insights and summaries
• Display categorized spending
• Power features like AI summaries and swipe categorization
• Improve app experience and troubleshoot bugs
• Communicate with you about updates or support

We do not sell your personal or financial data.

We may share data only with:

• Trusted third parties (Plaid, OpenAI, Firebase, etc.)
• Legal authorities if required
• A buyer if we sell or merge the business

We use encryption, secure APIs, and best practices to protect your information. No system is 100% secure, so please use strong passwords and keep your account info safe.

You may have the right to:

• Access your data
• Request deletion or correction
• Withdraw consent

You can delete your account anytime via settings or by emailing hello@flopp.app.

Flopp is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

We retain your data while your account is active. After deletion, data will be removed from live systems within 30 days (some backups may remain temporarily).

Your data may be processed in Canada or the U.S., depending on where our servers and providers operate.

We may update this policy from time to time. If there are significant changes, we'll notify you via the app or email.
